Brill has recently published Qurʾān Quotations Preserved on Papyrus Documents, 7th-10th Centuries, edited by Andreas Kaplony and Michael Marx. This volume (2) in the Documenta Coranica series documents early uses of Qur’anic quotations in Arabic documents during the early period of Islam. Additionally, it explores the problems associated with radiocarbon dating medieval documents and Qur’anic manuscripts.
